Convincing to the most critical demanding national and international, Cecilio Perera is one of the more important Mexican guitarists in the last years..........................with musical level of world wide as John Williams has mentioned in a master class. Winner of the First Prize of the XII International Guitar competition in Havana, Cuba 2004 being this one of the most important competition of the world.
Winner of the National Prize of Youth in Mexico Arts 2003 by the important profits in his carier like guitarist to his very short age.
Cecilio manages to create a unique atmosphere in each work that it interprets, impeccable technique, sound, musicalidad, virtuosity, passion, aggressiveness, beauty and sweetness are some of the many qualities that this young virtuoso of the guitar transmits in each one of his interpretations, obtaining to establish a bridge of emotions with the public which belongs to him like a constant necessity and that jeopardizes to him in each one of his presentations. Cecilio Perera is nowadays one of the young recognized Mexican guitarists in the international scope of the guitar.
